Chapter 7:

The second Ivan stepped out of the police station, Natalia was there in front of him. "BiG bRoThEr!" She exclaimed, hugging him tightly, causing him to freeze up.

"N-Natalia, w-why are y-you here?" Ivan questioned, trying not to shake.

"To BaIl YoU oUt AnD cOnViNcE yOu To MaRrY mE, oF cOuRsE!" Natalia responded, trying to hug her brother tighter. And when she did, she glared daggers at you and mouthed the words, 'mine'. You slowly backed away until you were standing beside Katyusha and Toris.

"P-Please let g-go of me Natalia....." Ivan said as he tried to peel off his younger sister.

"NyEt!" She refused.

"Natalia." Ivan tried again, this time he spoke sternly, surprising both you and Natalia. He had never really stood up to his little sister before.

Natalia backed off a bit, her tone different now. "F-fine...."

Toris looked over at her and then Ivan. Katyusha was also shocked at this. They said nothing to Ivan and Natalia though.

"______ and I should be heading back now, you three should also head home. Thank you for bailing me out though." Ivan said, sounding somewhat cold.

Katyusha nodded. "You're welcome Ivan." Then she turned to face Natalia. "We s-should p-probably be heading home b-by now....." Natalia nodded absently; obviously lost in thought at the moment. Then Katyusha, Natalia, and Toris left.

Ivan turned to you and smiled halfheartedly, obviously tired from the day's events. "Let's go, da?" He quesioned.

"Yeah," You lead the way to your car and slid in the driver's seat. Ivan got in the passenger's seat, careful not to hit his head at all. You started your car and headed to Ivan's house.

As you drove back to his house, you didn't notice a certain familar pick up truck following you. Ivan didn't notice either for he was busy dealing with his thoughts and staring out the window. You yawned a little, feeling suddenly tired. Ivan glanced over at you, looking worried.

Your eyelids felt heavy, but you tried not to show it. Ivan didn't say anything as you kept driving.
