Chapter 4:

It had been a few days since you left Alfred. You were doing alright. You hadn't gotten any better, but then again, you hadn't gotten any worse. You were stuck in a rut. You looked out the window of the guest room where you had currently taken residence in Ivan's home. You noticed a familar red, white and blue painted pick up truck pull into the driveway.

You froze, realizing that it was Alfred.

No one else had a truck with the stars and stripes painted on it.

Your blood ran cold when you saw a cop car pull up alongside Alfred's truck. Two men got out, and looked at the house. Then Alfred got out of the pick up truck and pointed at the house.

Alfred limped towards the front door, his foot in a boot, the two police officers followed him warily. You were worried now. What had Alfred done?! You could feel yourself shaking as you continued to watch.

Ivan was in the living room, reading the newspaper boredly. There was a loud knock on the door. Ivan got up and answered it. "Privet?" Then Ivan recognized Alfred and his voice turned to posion. "Oh it's you. Come back for more?"

He didn't notice the two police men standing behind Alfred, until a second two late. He cursed in russian under his breath.

"Ivan Braginseky?" One police officer asked.

"Da?" Ivan replied calmly.

"You're under arrest for the aggravated assault against Alfred Jones. Anything you say or do can and will be used against you in the court of law." The police officer began to mirandize him as he put the handcuffs on him.

"What?!" Ivan's violet eyes widened in shock. Alfred smirked smugly at this.

You overheard what was going on. Worried, you ran into the living room. "Ivan!" You cried.

The police blinked at you. "Who is she?" One asked Ivan.

"A friend-" Ivan started.

"My girlfriend who he kidnapped!" Alfred spat angrily.

"Nyet! I did not kidnap her!" Ivan proested.

"I left you on my own free will!" You retorted at Alfred. He looked at you.

"We can still work this all out! I love you ______! Can't you see that?!" Alfred cried.

"Not when you're cheating on me!" You responded.

"Woah, woah. What is going on here exactly?" One police men asked, confused.

"This sounds more like a civil dispute case to me." The other police man added.

"Why don't we you all just calm down and explain what happened exactly?" The first police man asked.

And with that, all three of you had to tell each version of your story. Finally everything was straightened out, except Ivan was still going to jail for the aggravated assault case.

The police men took Ivan downtown to the station and you drove there. Alfred, who was being a creeper, decided to follow you there.
