You were tasked with the job of giving Sokolov his meals lately. You knew what he had done; he invented many of the devices used now and was a philosopher as well as an artist. You heard he painted many aristocrats before the empress died.
You walked into the building were Sokolov was being kept and looked up at the cage he was in. You felt only a bit bad he had to be kept in such conditions, but the others said it was for the best. You slid the food into the cage and closed the door, keeping an eye on him the entire time.
You didn't see what was so dangerous about the older man. When he was locked up like this, he was more like a tamed ani

After a few days of going through towns, finding a few runes and bone charms, and getting frequent visits from The Outsider, you somehow managed to find the group that called themselves the 'loyalists'. You met with them and hoped they would let you join their cause. They seemed hesitant at first, but a maid vouched for you and said you could help out around here and maybe even boost morale.
You were more than happy to help, and you got to know everyone. You heard from someone that Corvo should be back. Corvo Attano. The Lord Protector that supposedly killed the empress and kidnapped her daughter, Emily. So he had been with the loyalists the

You quickly adjusted to your new powers. You were no longer freaked out by the heart anymore and you tried using it to find runes and bone charms. You decided to head for the next town in hopes of finding some runes.
When you arrived in the next town it looked even worse than the previous one you had been staying in. More buildings were boarded up, you could hear slight gunfire down some of the streets, and there was a small hoard of rats near an alley way. You cringed as you tried to pass by them without being noticed. You hoped you wouldn't have to go anywhere near where the gunfire was.
You used blink to get up above the street and crept

I'm going to try to make this a series. This is another Dishonored fanfic. I'm not sure how long this one will be, I'm pretty much going to wing it. Oh, don't be surprised if this series gets discontinued, I'll try to finish it anyway.
~~
It all started when the empress was assassinated. The rats soon came to your small town afterwards. The chaos started and you didn't know who to trust. You were by yourself and learned a few tricks while living on the street. You managed to survive with your wits alone so far, but you could wield a sword and weren't afraid to kill anyone that was hostile towards you.
You tried your best avoiding gangs and
Alright, before I start writing this let me clarify. This is for Dishonored and Daud is one of the characters. Oh also this is gender neutral in case any guys might want to read this.
You're a member of The Whalers and work under Daud for him, ever since he took you in under his wing. You're a fairly good assassin and get sent out on a lot of missions. I shouldn't say anymore since it'll be in the story.
~~
You were a good assassin, following orders on jobs and getting things done quickly. You were liked by everyone in The Whalers. The Outsider had given you his mark shortly after you joined the group, believing you were fairly interesting
My footsteps echoed in the lonely cell as I paced back and forth in front of the bars. I was the only one held prisoner here, and I couldn't see any guards at the moment. A small stream of daylight filtered through from some barred windows far out of my reach. Otherwise, the cell was dark and smelled strongly of mildew.
I could hear rats scuttling about across from me in the other cells. By now, my senses were numbed from being in there so long; yet it had to be only five days at the most.
The clicking of boots on cobblestone snapped me out of my thoughts. I looked up from the ground over towards the direction of the noise. I picked up the
